Inspired by the theme of Venetian Carnival
On the topic of "Passionately in Love With ..."
 
Award-winning poets, writers and authors from the Ridgefield Writers Guild and the Ridgefield Memoir Writing Group, along with guests, will read and singers from the renowned Camerata d'Amici will entertain with song in this soirée-style gathering. Noted actress Anne Giroux is working with the writers in preparation for the event.
 
Join us for an evening serenade that includes readings by Linda Merlino, Connecticut Press Club Runner-Up for Best Fiction of 2009, Pushcart Prize nominee Jean Sands, humanitarian Chilean writer Aurora Lopez Cancino and award-winning writer Adele Annesi.
 
Light refreshments, wine and cheese will be served. Seating is limited, and registration for the event is required. For more information or to reserve a place, please contact library program director Lesley Lambton.
